I think I pay around $75 a month right now, but Im a woman, so the rates are a bit lower. I'm 34 now and pay $23 per month on my daily driver with Geico and about $65 a month on my project car (I got custom collector's insurance on it). I've only ever had the cheapest insurance as well as anything more is a waste of money, imo. I've always owned fairly cheap used cars that aren't worth full coverage. 1337toothbrush 12/18/20 12:15:39 AM #42:	My insurance greatly increased my rates even though nothing happened, no claims or tickets or anything, so I switched companies and saved a bundle. I'm currently paying about $400 per 6 months. Really though, insurance is such a scam. I wish I could just keep money in an account to act as coverage to show that I have the money available to pay for accidents. Injury should be covered by health insurance and that should be provided by the government.
