I live in Cape Coral, which is right next door to Fort Myers in southwestern Florida. Back in '96, a teen militia group formed in Ft. Myers, they called themselves the Lords of Chaos. Ended up murdering a music teacher from one of the high schools.

Anytime I've mentioned it to people, they are dumbfounded. Like no one's heard about it.

The town I live in in northern Nevada still sounds a loud horn every day at noon and 6pm. You can hear the horn all throughout the town. The sounding of the horn was originally used to tell the local Indians when they could come out (noon) and when they had to return to their homes(6pm).
