Maybe cuz no one has one, and it's also apparently a US only "feature". But the Explore tab is just a live ad disguised as news. Not even targeted ads for DLC of games you've played either. I remember people being upset by this kind of stuff a few years back like with the ad version of Kindles.

I very rarely use my home screen for more than a few seconds. I do wish I could disable that tab though.

I suspect in today's boring dystopian landscape, being assaulted by ads from every angle just feels like what's supposed to happen any time you look at a screen.

I booted up my cousins a few times to play Souls and never noticed. I don't disable ads here tho, I just zone them out. I think I built up immunity.
