i have 3 certificates in engineering on my wall, but i'm probably the laziest person you'll ever meet

i do the bare minimum required to actually be effective

today, during a work day, i slept the first 4 hours, woke up right on time for lunch and used an uber eats coupon to get a free lunch (except for the tip i paid), screwed around another hour watching tv and then did 3 hours of work to complete a segment of a project and the project manager actually applauded me for getting it done so efficiently lol

that's the one part of my life i can actually say i wasnt lazy in

but at this point it's so ingrained in me that it's second nature, so in a way i am lazy with it since i dont have to try as hard to get the same results

I used to be, but I changed my mentality and can never go back to being unhealthy, lazy, unfit and unmotivated.

Compared to my parents, I am absolutely lazy.

I do what needs to be done and I guess any younger person would say Im not lazy at all. But compared to the relentless work ethic and ultra-responsible nature of my Dad and especially my Mom? Sheesh, what they can get done at home and at work in a day, let alone a week, is ridiculous.
