I'm not really into first-person shooters but this game has been amazingly fun. I loved Doom 2016 and recently purchased most of the previous Dooms on the e-shop. I have Doom Eternal for my Xbox too but I just haven't played it on there for some reason. I know it's an immensely better visual experience, but for whatever reason I just find myself playing on the Switch in handheld mode more often. The game is so good though that I'll probably eventually go through the whole thing on the Xbox too. Especially if I end up getting the Series X. Who else has played this masterpiece?

My only criticism of Doom Eternal was that they dropped the awesome MP from 2016 for some dumb-ass asymmetrical thing nobody ever likes. Was Evolve and all the things that failed after it not enough of a red flag?

I am just bitter because I loved the freeze tag mode.

I can agree with that. I would have preferred a more traditional multiplayer mode. They could have had multiple modes including the new 2 v 1 mode.

No it's available for download, not stream. I would have bought a physical edition if they came out with it. At least I have the physical release for the Xbox.

It came with a download code for Doom 64 too which has also been a lot of fun. I never played it before.

I watched some interview with Panic Button and they were talking about how they would rather work on porting games the way they have been so far. They seem to prefer it over streaming. I can see why. They do an amazing job.
