there is no arabic-speaking population anywhere near that region nor is the climate anything like what it's portrayed as and ugh wtf

it's like making up a 51st state in America in the far northeast and saying the majority language there is spanish and it's a desert

Also, no country with the name -stan is Arabic, that's a Persian suffix. They are all Iranian or Turkic, and most of them are in Central Asia.

Pretty much every modern/futuristic CoD game is propaganda for the CIA and the military-industrial complex.

Well I barely remember the original game, played it for maybe 30 minutes at most, but I don't recall anyone at the time saying they were falsely attributing atrocities committed by the US to other countries or portraying things like operation condor in a good light, so it seemed at least slightly less brazenly like propaganda, but that could just be my youth at the time or a less critical political climate in regards to the content of games.
