Summer in the north is worse than winter in the north, so of course summer in the south runs away with this. Can't cool down in the heat but you can warm up in the cold. Easy

I've been in Minnesota in February and Alabama in July and August. You can bundle up in Minnesota, Alabama the heat was miserable 24/7.
