Tried updating driver, restarting, ip refresh, etc.
What do?

its not set to a static ip is it?

It could be that too many connections exist, it can't open another socket for your computer.

Is there a local Mickey Ds, Wendys, Burger King, Krystal, Starbucks, A coffee place, Chick-fil-A nearby? Most have Wi-Fi.

IP address conflicts normally resolve themselves within about 30 seconds or so as long as there are available IP addresses in the pool. Does the warning not go away after a while?

Hit Windows Key or go down to lower left and click.

Type COMMAND PROMPT, case does not matter.

AT the new black screen, type: ipconfig/flushdns

To see a list of open connections, type: ippconfig /displaydns

It's most likely going to be a problem on the hotel's network if it persists. The DHCP server isn't tracking conflicts properly or there aren't enough IP addresses to hand out. If ipconfig /release and ipconfig /renew doesn't work, then you'd need to contact their tech support.

I meant to update last night but was busy with work stuff.
Anyway, thanks guys. I was able to talk to tech support at the hotel and he gave me a static ip and it works fine. Every 6 hours or so I have the message pop up but I just restart my laptop and it works fine again

What was the procedure to enter the static IP?

DID they have you dL software?
