It's not really the kids teasing each other I'm worried about. It's the type of people that popularized the meme who are grown that I wouldn't put it past attacking kids named Karen.

One of my old workmates was named Karen. And she actually did act like an entitled Karen much of the time. I've thought of her since this whole meme took off and had a good laugh.

I can only hope that it eventually sucks worse for the people who made this meme. I guess they thought saying a female name as an insult was such a crazy good and hilarious idea that couldn't possibly ever hurt any real people named Karen. I mean...I'm sure these absolute geniuses weighed this outcome for real people named Karen vs the benefit a new uninspired meme would bring to society before they made it right? Whatever the answer...they are entitled jerks who don't care about who they hurt with thier bullshit. The only Karen I know is literally the opposite of "a karen" - if she had a legitimate grievance, she'd probably just accept it, leave, and not go back rather than create a scene and request managers.

Ehh, debatable. "Karen" is geared more towards the fucking attitude they have. You could be a Karen and be the most nicest person in the world. But then again... its just how widespread the word has now become for good reason though since many of them came out of the fucking woodwork ever since covid started.
