It was because of him Broly came to Earth and tried to kill Goku and Vegeta. Frieza killed Paragus, causing Broly to lose it. He put the whole Earth in danger and is building a huge army, taking over the universe again. So he's far from being Namek Vegeta, he's actually as bad as he was before. There was absolute no reason to include Krillin, Tien, or Roshi though.
