Towards the end of my freshman year of college there was a girl who had a hugeeeee crush on me but I literally wasn't interested so I said no.

I felt really bad. She showed up to my dorm with a group of people supporting her and she asked if I wanted to go on a date, oh god that sucked.

Some girl in HS had her friend ask if I was interested in her, and as awkward and girlfriend-desparate as I was then, I flat out said no. She was known as the most disgusting girl in school who ate her boogers and smelled like literal shit.

She's my hometown's drugged out hooker now. It's sad, but...bullet dodged.

Once at a party some girl was really into me but I just wasn't interested, plus I was already in a relationship at the time.

Another time there was a girl at work that kept flirting with me hard, but she was annoying as hell and acted like a child with A.D.D.

Other than that, any girl who has ever shown interest in me, I was down.

There was a girl a grade under me in band who I was friends with. She reminded me of one of my younger sisters, I have 4, so thats kind of how I saw her so it was extremely awkward when she started hitting on me.

The other two weren't very attractive. I am friend of one of them now. I was on antipsychotics so I was pretty fat then too and so she liked me even though I was fat. :)

how did you get off of antipsychotics? I have been on them since 2015 and I have a beer gut because of it.

I can be a bit picky, but I try to let them down as easy as possible. I don't outright reject them often (yeah, I do the play oblivious thing, but a good amount of the time I (in the past more) am just oblivious (geeky guy), I'm better at seeing the flirting now... unless they start getting super direct like leaving me their number, straight out sexual propositions, or they sneak a kiss in.

That actually reminds of one instance.

I was hanging out in this pool hall I used to frequent, and this one girl led me away. I'd seen this girl before and was interested... but she was actually leading me away to her friend. Who I knew of from a friend of a friend was kinda skeezy. It was hard to put her down gently and not have first girl be mad at me.

Oh well. (nothing ever happened with either of them)

Yes. I've turned down both guys and girls. It's never easy but it's the right thing to do. I've dated people that I wasn't that interested in but went with anyway.

It makes things harder down the road. Better to nip it in the bud.

how did you get off of antipsychotics? I have been on them since 2015 and I have a beer gut because of it.

I am on a sleep aid now and quit drinking alcohol. Still on anti-depressants.
Just talk to your doctor.
