Doom 64 is great though I beat it earlier in the year on switch. It gets pretty hard

The lighting goes between being too bright or too dark a lot, thats my only complaint

having played every other game through but DOOM 3, this is definitely the darkest one I've played and I'm only in Level 2 <_<

I played like an hour of DOOM 3. This feels like a storyless(so far) foundation that set the theme and tone for DOOM 3.

Made it Map 14 and retired for the night.

I'm not saying the game is scary, but the music is actually really on point. Left me with a fair amount of goosebumps.

Though I don't play horror or scary games anyways or watch those kinds of movies.

I'm on Map 21.

This map has serious later DOOM II vibes. Once I got the Unmaker, the game started feeling more and more like DOOM and less like Quake <_<

Made it to Map 28 (without Demon Keys)

There's nothing difficult about this besides the Pain Elementals/Lost Souls.

I died because I was shooting rockets and a Lost Soul happened to charge from the right, directly into my rocket as as I shot so I wound up unintentionally suiciding

maybe the atmosphere is tricking you? it runs on a minorly changed version of the doom engine with new assets
