pop psychologist who has had a swindle going for years now telling 'incels' that their problems are other people's fault. he's a con artist but also just an absolutely embarrassing moron as amply demonstrated in TC's clip, although it's a minor example.

He seems angry, and even slightly unhinged, in this video, and just repeats the same thing over and over. Like he's trying to wiggle away from a point that he finds unpleasant to discuss. Not a great look!

Pretty true on the first one. Obviously most(basically all) of the straight up denial idiosy comes from the right, but that's not to say the left has really put forward any really viable solutions.

I do think the second half is false though, we have nuclear energy. Problem is no one really wants to move towards it. The rights more than content to keep burning coal and oil, and the left has these fairy tale notions that aren't based in physics that we can furfill our energy needs with solar, wind, and hydro power.

Just like corona every time an event is politized the truth gets smeared, twisted, bought, sold and revealed decades later.

Everyone dismisses it. I remember watching the presidential debates and when they brought up climate change and energy they went on for 10 or 15 minutes without even mentioning nuclear.

I do agree with what he said at the end, even if it does sound pessimistic. Realistically we're not gonna do a damn thing about it. Atleast not until it's too late, if it isn't already.

If you want the "most accurate take on climate change issue" why not start with what climatologists, paleoclimatologists, ecologists, etc are saying? You know, experts who specialise in the field? If I wanted the most accurate take on the effectiveness of vaccines I wouldn't ask Stephen Fry just because I reckon he's a smart guy.

The topic is about the difficulty understand the concepts of Climate Change in a politically polarized world. You don't have to be an expert to speak on what is self evident.
