Ill use rip if i don't care that much but I figure for a whole life that has just ended, I type "rest in peace."

I've always said "RIP" as "Are - Eye - Pee", since saying the letters sounds better. Just saying the word "rip" sounds weird, and somewhat disrespectful. But actually saying "rest in peace" beats all of them, of course.
