Which makes no sense from an advertisers perspective, because if anyone is playing a 30 minute ad, it's guaranteed they're not paying attention. I don't see why anyone would choose to make those. Either it's actual infomercials, the algo is screwing up and placing random videos as "ads", or youtube is secretly expirimenting with paid promotionals. Or, Google is intentionally tossing in 45-minute "ads" in an attempt to drive as many as possible to adblockers, with the goal being to tank Youtube and have an excuse to shut it down, like Amazon is doing with Twitch. But I just automatically use the youtube phone app since it's more convenient to navigate.
