The clothing stores in this game are also garbage. I don't care if it's more realistic to wander around the store and look at individual items. It's more convenient to go into a single dressing room and look at the entire stock.

I don't see how encouraging the player to put the controller down and wait helps with the open ended power fantasy.

Because the point Is to screw around and the cops are fun toys

if you don't want the toys they are easy to get away from

Complaining about that is missing the point

like arguing in Doom the easiest way to stay alive Is to stand still in an empty room forever

or in monopoly you can never take your turn and force a stalemate draw.

Yeah that'll work but you've missed the forest for the trees and then whined about it

It's not fun. Animals can call the cops on you, the cops always can catch up to you even if you're in a fully modded super car, and helicopters constantly respawn giving you no breathing room at all if you destroy one.

This is why the post san andreas rockstar games are flat out garbage. What is with this "realism" nonsense in a video game? I was deathly disappointed with gta 4, and not really bothering with 5.

Yeah, I remember rolling my eyes pretty hard when you'd get a wanted level for not coming to a stop and paying a toll in GTA4.
