So a NY Fire Captain (Rob Lowe) moves to Texas with his gay son with an opiof problem (also a firefighter) to restart a fire department with diversity hire: A badass muslim woman, a badass black transman, a man that couldnt get past the written exams but passed the physical stuff etc.

Anyway it has Rob Lowe so Im watching it.

Eh did that in the original 9-1-1 as well. I dont care really. They do great drama with the characters and I like that, even if its insane.

right on. Rob Lowe is great in anything.

Fun fact: i've met him a few times, he lives locally.

Its Ryan Murphy. Creator or Popular, AMS, Glee. Ofc its hillarious. But I gotta say, 9-1-1 is my favourite of his shows. Its insane but still grounded enough.

I won't spoil anything but things get more silly.

Also, I like how both 911 have ridiculous over the top catastrophes and natural disasters causing probably billions in damage... and the worst ones get 2 episodes before being sorted out instead of just 1... then aren't mentioned again. I think the only thing they haven't done is a blizzard, but texas and southern california.

They do mention them if it did some damage for the main charcters somehow (personal, physical, mental).

Haha now Rob Lowe had a nightmare where he lost his hair and a woman chose to burn in her home instead of getting help from him.

Im sold on Lone Star already.
