Not sure if I should do Halo 3 ODST or Halo 4 next?

Was a fun game, but it felt like they were starting to repeat themes and levels now. There were some new weapons but I didn't see the necessity for it, though the gravity hammer was pretty cool to screw around with. I also loved the addition of the Hornet, felt a lot cooler than the Banshee and reminded me of something the GDI might have used in the C&C games.

ALSO... How Long To Beat seems very conservative with their estimates of how long these games are. I think it took about 5 hours to complete but on the website it says 9.

Long story short... (FULL GAME SPOILERS)

There's that one Prophet alien that is trying to activate ALL the Halo rings and destroy all life in the universe. You wind up working with the Arbiter and the Flood / Gravemind thing and kill the Prophet, but you also realize you're on a mini-Halo so you recover Cortana, get the key from her to boot that up, kill the Oracle / robot sentinel thing that was pretty annoying the whole time, activate the Halo, then you have to drive a Warthog like in the first game, escaping an explosion to get to a ship. You and the Arbiter escape into space as the Halo activates; he gets to the front of the ship, you're still in the cargo bay, his half of the ship goes through the wormhole back to earth, your half gets left behind and you go into stasis.

Halo 4 picks up four years after that with some weird Covenant attacking your ship, and you're trying to figure out who they are and where you are.

Yeah it's nothing fancy I just keep it in a notepad. If I were smart I'd put it in like google docs or something at least so I could just access it online and not have to worry about losing it. Also only started it last year, thought it would be a fun project.

Normal - been playing through the whole series on Normal, seems about right... Borderline frustrating for me but also easy enough to play through most missions without dying >_>

Yeah when the ending started I thought uh what the hell lol how did he die if the alien made it back? Then that final cutscene... That was pretty well done.

To be honest I was never a big Halo fan so I never watched much media about it before lol. My experience before starting the MCC was playing Halo 1 up through like The Cartographer at my neighbor's house back on the original Xbox and I never touched it again.

In my play through I used three power-ups...

One was a proximity mine that the Flood enemies just walked around or something.
Second was a regeneration bubble that seemed to work fine the first time then it just lingered there? So I didn't know if it was meant to provide like permanent regeneration while you stood in there or not.
Third time was the auto-turret? It didn't do jack shit the first time. Second time was outside the control room for the Halo on the Ark. It attacked me when I exited that area and I died like four times before I realized it was the culprit.
