Anti-Vaxx has been around for decades, and this new wave of people opposed to the rushed COVID vaccine shouldnt be categorized with the same people who think sprinkling beach sand on your forehead cures ailments because of the microbes present in the sand (the REAL, kooky, anti-vaxxers). In order to speed up the process of creating said vaccine, certain FDA guidelines and protocols that are normally standard in creating a vaccine are being allowed to be thrown out altogether. Legislation has also been passed just recently that allows creators of the COVID vaccine to not be held responsible for any defects, and/or negative effects caused by the vaccine...so if the vaccine fucks you or a loved one up, there is absolutely no legal recourse available, or any avenue to pursue for that matter. You just have to take it and live with it. Making it so you cant be sued for distributing a bad vaccine, a month before you release your vaccineone that has been rushed, and has not had time to study long term effectsdoesnt exactly radiate confidence if you ask me. Quite the opposite actually. The biggest problem to me, is that since these companies have it set so there are no repercussions to producing a bad vaccine, or one with a high rate of negative effects...youve essentially created a situation where several companies have rushed as quick as possible to be the first to come up with one, and theyve got no moral or ethical reason to deliver an immaculate product. Theyre protected no matter what.
