I'm in the "somebody I've probably met died from it" camp. My cousin's father-in-law.

The guy who did day shift temperature checks at work became symptomatic at some point over Thanksgiving too, so there's that.

My mom is in a nursing facility. She got Covid and got over it in a week.

My friend's mom works at a gas station, and she thinks she's immune because she deals with so many customers on a daily basis.

As if a strong immune system is going to prevent you getting an illness that didn't even openly exist in society until a year ago.

...AND she smokes 3 packs of cigarettes a day.
