ResetEra is a message board that is infamous for banning and censoring people who they don't consider to be woke enough. If you don't fall lockstep into the hivemind group think then you get your messages deleted or banned even if you are just trying to have a rational discussion. They have a penchant for overreacting to things and making mountains out of molehills.

it is one of the craziest communities ive ever seen for a site that doesnt present itself as subversive or radical. just the other day i saw a collection of posts of different users saying they attempted or seriously contemplated attempting suicide because of dissenting political posts on that site

I don't think ResetEra is infamous for banning people, it's just a vocal point for a lot of people who would get banned if they were to go there.
