Even left-wing, pro-vaccine people seem to be hesistant about getting the vaccine. Don't see how we get to the 60-70% of the population needed for herd immunity anytime soon if this sentiment prevails.
We should be looking at it this way: by getting the vaccine, you may be preventing deaths. Yeah, part of me is anxious too about how quickly the vaccine is being rolled out (especially since I'm a front-line healthcare worker and will be one of the first to be offered it), but I also feel like I need to do my part to end the pandemic. ... If it was made mandatory for in person schooling like most vaccines we could probably get there in months.
