today's free game of the week is cave story on epic games and it made me remember the first time i played it like 11 years ago and just being terrible at it.

Same.

But I still made it through Hollow Knight. The trick for me was to slow down as best I could and whenever it would allow me to. It made the parts where you have to move quickly super hard because like you I've always sucked at games. Platforming especially. And FPS s, and I guess everything. Nail Bouncing was a nightmare. lol

I can never beat a boss on my first try and now I have to hope I can on my second or I lost a fuckton of geo that I needed

So did you just start playing or how far are you? From the topic title I was assuming you were in this one optional area in particular with lots of platforming, but there's no boss there.

Im probably like 15 hours in but like probably only 6 hours in for someone who isnt bad at games. Beaten a few bosses, got a few maps.
