It was all a mess and I asked somebody, I said "Well, you know when we do this..." I said it to him, Christopher Nolan, and said "Look, when we come in to ADR this scene" as in go back to dub it, you know go back and do the voices again, because no one can hear what anyone is saying, Tom Hardy's got this voice that he hasn't decided what is is yet... "When we redub this scene, it's gonna be better, yeah?" And the sound guy looked at me, said "Oh no, Christopher Nolan would never ever do ADR", he considers it like a failure, you know, a sign of failure to go back and add any sound afterwards... And everyone else does it but you know, I get it and you know I think he's a great filmmaker, like a really great filmmaker."

Yeah I went and saw Tennet in theaters (only person in the theater!) and I didn't understand half of what was said. I'm really looking forward to watching it again this month and actually understanding the plot lmao.
