Is the 8gig fine for someone who does light reading? I am talking under ten books a year or is the 32gig really needed?

I use the Kindle app. It doesn't use a lot of space.

I'm not sure how you're planning on using it but I mostly use mine to read ebooks from my local library so memory isn't even an issue. But as others have said 8 gb is a couple thousand of books.

32 if you want audiobooks, otherwise 8 is fine, it's straight up thousands of books.

I have a Kindle app on my computer. It's how I checked out a few comics off Amazon when they offered me some free Kindle Unlimited time. But yeah, I'm sorry to say I don't have a ton of experience in the area of what devices are the best for it, but 8 gigs ought to be fine.

Should be fine. Like others have said, its a ton of books. And Idk about every Kindle, but I got a card for extra memory on mine. But I use mine for a ton more...
