and once we're allowed to travel again

my friend was supposed to get married this month in japan (his girlfriend moved here and is japanese) but that's been delayed. hopefully it goes ahead for next year instead. plus my cousin living in the west indies is supposed to be getting married next year but that's even more tbc

That sucks about the wedding. I remember you talking about that. Fingers and toes crossed that you can make it all up and then some.

I don't have set plans, but definitely want to. Since I can work remotely, I had intended for the 2020s to be a lot of travel while working. Now everyone works remotely and extremely domestically at the same time. Ho-hum.

My work took me to Scotland last year, made me work the whole time and NEVER ACTUALLY HAD IN-PERSON MEETINGS. So I already feel like I got the COVID experience. Want to see Pakistan, Australia, more of Colorado and Vermont, go to Japan again, visit Portugal, more US road trips (Mardi Gras would be fun).

that would be so fun, id be up for all of that apart from Vermont maybe theres so many other states i would rather go to beforehand

Which ones do you want to see most? Besides Maryland, the best state, of course.

Vermont is basically whatever to me, but I love snow, so that's what I'd want to do. A week or so in NYC would be wild too, in a blizzard or most other weather.
