I've never had an experience with VR before. Was never really interested in it until now. The Quest 2 is only $300 and I don't really care about the facebook account requirement. So I decided to treat myself for my recent promotion.

Let me tell you.

The future is NOW. This shit is fucking wild. it tracks really well, looks good, and doesn't even require a computer connection. First game I bought was beat saber because...duh - and it's so fucking fun!! Even the tutorial where you mess around with some gadgets was captivating to me. I'm super pumped to get Resident Evil 7 VR, but I might wait until my wife is no longer pregnant (she loves horror stuff, but can't really consume it while pregnant (the stress is bad for baby.)).

Any beginner tips or must-have games?

Lmao i did check out some VR porn. My headset wasn't super well set up for my glasses though.

Once i configure everything properly I'll give it another good go.

Can you explain the setup?
What are you teathered to?
Can you walk around if you have room?
Do you need to put sensors around the room?
Is it like the ps4vr which from what ive heard is severely limited compared to vr on a higher end pc?

the quest is a standalone system. it is tether-free.

the quest is a lot stronger than PSVR and it can also double as a PC headset if you connect it to a PC.
