They did chrono trigger on the DS. It sold horribly, so chrono series is dead.

Nice. I had this on ps1 but I never finished any of the stories. I remember I grinded levels for a long time without even realizing the game scales enemy levels with you. I think I got to maybe the last boss for one of the characters, but got stuck

saga frontier was awesome and it had a lot of cool things going on under the hood. like little things. like if you had an attack called doubleslash it wouldn't just animate two slashes and deal double damage, it would actually have two attacks in one. also the combat was fun.

I remember I grinded levels for a long time without even realizing the game scales enemy levels with you.

it's kinda like that lol. it's a game that knows how to do its dopamine hits.

This news definitely made my day, but if/when they announce a Legend of Mana Remake/Remaster is when I go crazy.

This also has me thinking they'll end up doing something for the infamous Unlimited Saga someday, too.

I'm prolly gonna get the Android version if it has controller support.

Geesh and here I thought we were gonna get a new character. Oh well, that's still better than nothing. The only character I ever beat is Red's. There's lots of grinding in this game.

They ported Chrono trigger to the DS and it sold over a million copies, those were great numbers. It's dead because square has delusional sales figures in mind every time they release a game and always end up disappointed.

I half-expected this kind of thing after they released Romancing Saga 2 and 3 remasters. Wouldn't surprise me if we get a Saga Frontier 2 Remaster before too long.

Oh, I just realized this won't be released until next Summer. Lame. Had me looking forward to getting it.

Goddamnit, this means prices for it are gonna go up.

Seems like they're going off a list of what series they're re releasing. There's FF obv, SOs, and Mana. Can they pick up the pace and get to vagrant story, einhander and fencer musashi? Maybe also release an FFT collection, ogre tactics included (do Nintendo hold the rights for FFTAs? Maybe release an FFTA collection on switch if that's the case)
