I'm still surprised at how good it feels, the only thing I miss on it are control stick notches, but they aren't really necessary for the characters I play anyway. Honestly, I don't actually know how useful notches are in this game anyway for characters like Fox, like how many angles the up b is actually capable of. In Melee there are about a couple hundred possible angles so notches are a requirement. People even mod controllers for additional notches --- (... Yeah I got that in white. You're right, it DOES feel super cheap lol. But it was $15 on sale, so I got what I pay for lol. Like I said, I'm wondering if the PowerA GameCube ones are any better. I use a Pro controller 95% of the time and I contend it's the greatest game controller ever made in general. But for Smash, I still like the dependability of wired controllers which is why I explore them sometimes. The timing to up throw on the platform after the full hop cargo seems tight. Then you have to immediate double jump up air, and on top of that it's percent and weight dependent. Not exactly easy. There's only a couple moves that kill when Lucario is at 0% and they're pretty easy to avoid. --- (... Game 1 kept getting me with grounded Up B. Kept stupidly going for dash attacks and he avoided them easily. Since he was ahead in stocks, he Side B'd me to the blast zone. Game 2 played much better on my first stock. i was smarter about the moves i went for. didn't spam dash attack over and over again. as soon as he got the first stock lead, he Side B'd me twice in a row to clean out the rest of my stocks at near 0%. not gonna lie, I was pissed. I was playing like ass because of how tilted I was playing against the other player. Got one stock because he failed to tech off stage. Game 2 I gave up. I don't know why I try to be honest. The others that I know of have secondaries. He said he doesn't think the character is strong, at least based off the google translate. Seems that the idea of Pichu being a mid tier seems to have taken hold in some pro opinions, dabuz at one point thinking the character was a low tier before moving him into true mid tier. I think giving Pichu a reliable kill move would help the character a lot. Watching nietono set vs Kuro and the first two matches had nietono struggling to close stocks until he got jab lock to fsmash back to back last match.
