Example, Christmas is always 12/25.

But Thanksgiving isnt a specific date, just the last Thursday in November.

Do you have a preference or does it matter?

Easter is on the first Sunday after the first full moon after the Spring equinox, you know what day Easter will fall on from now until the end of time.

I prefer holidays that are a set day instead of date. Longer weekends are way better than getting a random Wednesday off.
