Do you think 18-19 is too young to be handling heavy machinary?

21 y/o Loren Schauers from Montana defied the odds by surviving a horrific forklift truck accident whre HALF of his body had to be AMPUTATED!!

He was then 19 driving an industrial truck across a bridge when he veered off and plummeted 50ft and found himself PINNED to the ground beneath the massive vehicle

He remained totally CONSCIOUS the entire time as he looked down to see his right arm had EXPLODED and everything below his hips was completely crushed

The young labourer made the decision for medics to perform a hemicorperectomy surgery where everything below the waist had to be amputated to save him as his girlfriend who is STILL with him, 21 y/o sabia Reiche said she had to say goodbye to him SIX times fearing he wasn't going to live another day

But he miraculously survived as the pair has been together for 18 months but said the turmoil brought them closer together and they got ENGAGED.

On the day of the accident, he was driving over a highway bridge outside Wilsal when cars illegally passed him but a single lane was dramatically narrowed as one car passed him. He veered too close to the bridge edge and the ground crumbled.

He tried to jump from the falling forklift but his leg got trapped by the seatbealt swinging him from the machinery as it plummeted and rolling over 3 times down the hill before Loren hit the ground and the forklift then came crashing down on him.

He said he know knows that was the wrong idea to try and jump out as if he stayed in he could have survived still with half his body but he ws in "fight or flight" mode

The dirt below was soft which saved his life as Loren completely lost his right forearm and hand in the accident and broken his right collarbone and shoulder and suffered a pulmonary embolism

Loren has taught himself how to become a accustomed to his new life with a "bucket" prosthetic and into get into a wheelchair as he tries to be as independent as possible

You have to be at least 18 to handle forklifts and even then only experienced people should be operating them

He said people in his position would wallow in self pity but him as he wanted to get back to WORK but unfortunately that wasn't possible as now he would like ot be a twitch influencer where his account is now at @iAceNation

Do you think 18-19 is too young to be handling big heavy machinery?....
