The show threw a wedding for 36 y/o Dan and 25 y/o Selina from Connecticut with an on-air ceremony as they were forced to cancel the big wedding due to COVID-19 so they did it live instead. They claimed to have met "several years ago", 7 to be exact in school through "mutual friends" as the segment made for a heartwearming story but people did an investigation and realized she was his 17 y/o STUDENT at the time!! Though unsupported, one youtuber said "It would have been a great story if it was actually true. They met 'in school' because she was his student. The mutual friends was the physics class he taught" Another said "We met in school through mutual friends is a very creative way of saying your relationship started when he was your teacher in high school. Could CBS not find a couple whose relationship didn't begin inappropriately." There is no evidence that Dan was Selina's techer when they started dating however it is understood he did work at the high school she graduated in 2013, the same year they started dating. Others say he is a PEDOPHILE and should be arrested Dan said "i knew she was very special from day one" as Selina gushed "I admire him and i just see a positive future for us and for the world because he made a really awesome impact on a lot of people, especially me" Selina was working as a pediatric nurse at a children's hospital when COVID-19 hit and volunteered to work on the front lines at New York Presbyterian Hospital and went months not seeing each other as they postponed their wedding.
