The U.K and the United States already calling people at high risk to book appointments for the COVID-19 vaccine that is likely going to be approved in early December as Justin Trudeau has told Canadians they will have to WAIT until NEXT YEAR in the first quarter of 2021 before they get any vaccines because they do not have any production plants as the US and UK and Germany will get vaccinated first.

This is also dependent if Health Canada approves any vaccines before it enters the country as the federal government has secured 358 million doses from 7 companies, an insurance policy against the possibly that some of the vaccines prove to be ineffective.

Trudeau said that the government has worked hard to secure tens of millions of doses once a safe and effective vaccine is ready

Dr. Moncef Slaoui, the chief scientific advisor of Operation Warp Speed said the US mission to develop a vaccine is ready to market and send out to people on December 10 when the final decision is made as 20 million americans will be vaccinated in December and another 20-30 million more in each following month with 1.3 billion total in 2021 as each patient needs 2 doses

Moncef says he expects 70% of the population to be vaccinated and will end the virus by May and things will go back to normal

The NHS in the UK has already started booking appointments to high risk groups including those in long term carehomes, home care workers, all those 80 and over and health care and social workers before being offered aged 75 or younger

While Operation Warp Speed will deliver vaccine shipments, it will be up to states to distribute to its people

In the meantime, Trudeau is telling Canadians they will have to continue to follow social distancing, mask wearing guidelines in the coming months before vaccines are sent

I'm working from home and likely will be for the foreseeable future, so I don't mind waiting for more important people to get a vaccine before me.

Also, yeah, we should be doing stuff like masks and social distancing for the foreseeable future anyways, because not everyone is going to get vaccinated.

I doubt normal US citizens will get the vaccine till next year. Priority goes to health care workers and those who will die from it first.

I'm actually not sure on that. The sheer amount of people spreading anti-vaxxer taking points is insane. It might be readily available for those that actually want it.

You actually think they can make enough of the vaccine to allow anyone to take it before the end of the year? You vastly overestimate how things are made.
