Yeah, apparently the reason he was able to miraculously survive is that the ground he fell on to off the bridge had just been worked by his fellow crew so it was softer than it would have been otherwise.

He has a cool left-handed Xbox controller that he can play games with, and hes getting a robotic prosthetic arm where hell be able to move each finger and even have the sensation of touch in them. Its really amazing the sort of technology thats out there these days.

I feel the same way, mainly because you can't be even slightly independent in that condition and I wouldn't want to be a burden on my loved ones.

Yeah forklifts are way heavier than you'd think. The few I used in my forklift driving days were not exactly big and they were 11k lbs and 13k lbs.

Dude's from Montana, this was probably the best he could do. Unfortunately he didn't have the experience to navigate the situation safely. That's not his fault and I generally agree. Hell, my best friend's dad is on permanent disability due to a forklift accident.

When I worked in a warehouse, even though I was in adminsation, I still have watch those safety videos. I remember the forklift one is to never take off your seat belt when you're in it.

If this was going to happen, at least it happened to him in an age where he is able to use a computer to access all human knowledge. Imagine being stuck in bed in the mid-20th century or even further back than then. You can do some really cool and creative things just with software lying in bed.

Thats the thing...I know most people couldnt do it (myself included) but from everything they say in the video this dude seems super independent and plans to get even more so in the near future.
