Right now Biden is winning 51% to 47.2%, vs. Obama in 2012 who won 51.1% to 47.2%. Biden is going to win by right around the same margin that Obama did in 2012.
But how is that possible? The US is in at least as bad of a state as it was in 2008 when Obama won the popular vote 52.9% to 45.7%. And this election had an especially large turnout. in the US people just vote on emotion, and Obama had a great "I'm the savior" campaign where he was some kind of symbol. Same reason Trumpers worship him, he's become an icon to them
