Right now Biden is winning 51% to 47.2%, vs. Obama in 2012 who won 51.1% to 47.2%. Biden is going to win by right around the same margin that Obama did in 2012.

But how is that possible? The US is in at least as bad of a state as it was in 2008 when Obama won the popular vote 52.9% to 45.7%. And this election had an especially large turnout.

Is Biden just a worse candidate than Obama? Is Trump's base that big?

in the US people just vote on emotion, and Obama had a great "I'm the savior" campaign where he was some kind of symbol. Same reason Trumpers worship him, he's become an icon to them

Biden is seen as an old man that isn't Trump
