I fucking knew it. The entire game I've hated him and he's rubbed me the wrong way, something about him just screams assbag and complete tool. When it was revealed he was the villain I was like "yeah that checks out" and wasn't surprised.

I don't know if Royal spoils it more than the original game but yeah, I just knew it.

I'm still in November and still confused on "the plan" and what exactly happened from the moment they infiltrated Sae's palace.

But man I called it so well, I made sure not to bother leveling him up or anything. Just looking at that fucking uniform he's got with the long nose! It screams villain. Not to mention his codename, crow? Seriously crow? It's another term for a turncoat.

I'm still waiting to see if there's more than meets the eye here because when they announced yet another detective character I was like "didn't we already do this with Naoto" and he's definitely no Naoto and yet they also gave some Adachi vibes with him and I was like they're not gonna go that same route again are they

Honestly I was wondering if Sae-san was gonna be revealed to be the villain/true mastermind. Still confused over her palace and her Shadow, the in-game logic made no sense and I'm still confused over whether or not she was someone who was forging evidence to win cases?

I mean yeah I guess, in the opening when one of the cops was all like "your teammate sold you out" I was like hmm and then as I was playing it was quite clear that the last to join will be the first to betray.

But did you also guess he was the one causing the mental shutdowns? Cuz while I wasn't surprised, I didn't happen to think that, for some reason I assumed it was Shido himself and/or some other lackey.

Yeah, I caught that right away even on my first playthrough. Though I was suspicious already because Akechi is similar to Adachi.

Half the time I assume stuff like that is a game oversight since old jrpgs were full of those due to translation issues in the old days.

And the other half I was like the similarity must mean that it's a double, nay triple bait and switch, because we'd already be expecting it!
