To your second point, unless those articles are from before 2004, the origin of the word still remains unknown, which is the entire point. You keep saying it was invented by a Puerto Rican academic, and that's objectively wrong. Trying to trap me with "oh, well prove this other case is true" doesn't make you any less wrong, especially when I never tried to claim it was invented by "white people", only that you keep peddling something that is objective false.

But hey, see you the next time this topic comes up a month and you go back to pretending like it was invented by Puerto Ricans because the entire crux of your counter-argument against "this is a dumb word" is "but it invented by hispanics" which, again, you can't actually prove.

As a millenial, college educated Hispanic I think its silly, but I understand where its coming fro since mosts nouns are gender specific and a lot of times the masculine versions is used as default to include both genders.

Intention is nice, but it reeeally sounds try hard virtue signaling. Like using it for show in front others who they know think alike and then forgetting all about it in private cause it sounds silly.
