I've always enjoyed the joke of Denny's being a weird place no one intends to go, but winds up at after getting real drunk.
But the sheer variety of food, and the types, tantalizing.

Had a Grand Slamwich, which I remember the Charlie the Unicorn series mentioning.
It. Was. Delicious.
Hashbrowns were decent, and my brother got a mushroom swiss chicken sandwich.
His fries came late and were terrible. The service was terrible, one drink refill hen they brought food, ignored the rest of the time.
Hot chocolate was watery.

Will go again.

Like the TC said its a magnet for drunk teenagers and college students. The amount I went to Dennys absolutely wasted With the squad at 3 am probably gave the waitresses PTSD and Vietnam flashbacks.

I AM more a Waffle house guy, but they were full, and I was adventurous.
