Its consistently in the running for the worst store in Canada. It is by far one of the most unorganized stores and the staff, when you can find them, are almost always not only unhelpful but actively inhibiting; I cant tell you how many times theyve sent me down the wrong aisle. Ive refused to go there for the last decade because of how bad they are. An absolutely god awful store, I do not know how theyve lasted so long.

And we still go in there all the time. It's alright if you just need a cheap tool for a general handyman project around the house or something like that. These days, there's more kitchen and housewares stuff there than tools, though.

A store called Tire isn't as appealing.

Every single product they sell hits at least 75% off at least once per year and if you're not buying it then you're doing it wrong. Their regular prices are insane.

lmao bruh it's literally the only retailer where you can look up a product online and it tells you exactly what aisle it's located in in the store you have selected.

I always buy stuff on sale there and tools. Tools are great because they have an unlimited warranty and are dirt cheap on sale. I've broken so many ratchets/sockets/etc and I just get a new one when I take it back in.

We call that peameal bacon here, and it's fucking awesome.

[LFAQs-redacted-quote]

We call that rye whiskey here. Some of it is fucking garbage, but the good stuff is worth drinking. Look for the stuff that's all rye grain, or like 90%

Never take your car in for service there. My brothers friend used to work there in their garage and they literally scam people. They somehow always find extra things your car suddenly needs when it wasnt the reason you brought it in.

Whose colour scheme is red, white, and blue. If it wasn't for the fact that I know Loblaw's is still Canadian I'd swear the reason they changed from purple, green, and yellow was due to some American company buying them.

Not trying to defend Canadian Tire, but I'm sure they're far from the only service garage that does shit like that.

Bruh, its literally never in that aisle. But hey, some rando online says its good, so never mind my own experiences or the experiences of every other person Ive spoke to about it, or the multiple and multiple consecutive Worst Store In Canada awards its won.

Its always worked for me.

And mostly I got little good to say about it besides their sales.

FFS I accused you of being a rando online who thinks his random anecdotal post about the efficacy of Canadian stores customer service options is somehow worth more weight in this discussion than the multiple consecutive worst store in Canada awards Canadian Tire has won, said awards being given explicitly because of their shitty customer service. Like, Im not sure how you didnt get that, it was literally in the same sentence you misunderstood.

I've taken vehicles in to get minor work done, and I've never been upsold. I've been told that 'there's an oil leak' but its not actually leaking before though (I do 99% of my own work, so I know my vehicles).
