If Kasumi isn't in it at all and they don't reference the extra semester I can see why someone might say it's a sequel specifically to vanilla and not Royal, but really it mostly doesn't make a difference. BTW this game runs like total shit on Switch and has load times literally multiple times longer than every other platform. I imagine Steam will just have that stuff? Unless they make you have Golden data or something. Of course, it's possible every US version will say fuck it and just include that. Other than that, no. I used to be right there with you until very recently, but unfortunately now that the PS5 let's me toggle between the two on the fly for comparison, I am no longer able to accept 30FPS when 60 is an option.
