Maybe I'm just more pathetic then the average Twitch user or something but I donate mainly because the streamer entertains me and I feel like it's the best thing that I can do. I don't really care if they thanked me or not... I mean I see people donate to people IRL for them playing music inside the subway, I don't see why me donating to twitch streamers is any different

The donations I make go towards the streamer playing a game of my choice, and I highly value their media opinions.
