Anime is more popular, but cool? Are people outside of YouTubers that don't even label themselves as cool really pushing it?

I'm not trying to insult, I don't even think it should matter, but it's what we're talking about lol. Are we still talking about jocky people? Cause though some jocks mess with Anime, I don't think it's a noteworthy amount. I feel like if you went into a room of jocks and brought up anything other than maybe Dragon Ball Z, they'd shrug you off.

I play video games quite a bit and am pretty nerdy in that record, but in the summer I would literally go outside everyday and get a 30+ minute workout in shooting basketball and if there were kids playing at the courts we'd have a full fledged game. I'm also just overall extremely into most sports with a pretty good knowledge of football and other sports.

And I certainly wouldn't say that this is rare or something.

Reread the sentence man. I meant I would just go to the basketball court and literally shoot the basketball by myself. I wasn't saying we were playing that "shooty basketball" game or something.

I grew up playing baseball, football, and hockey then I'd sometimes play basketball and soccer with friends too. I played rugby through college and I've been disc golfing for about 12 years now. I've also ran a few half marathons and ten mile runs.

Though tbh I don't play video games nearly as much as I used to. I play a lot of sports games and rocket league. Just bought the new Crash Bandicoot though and I love it.

I should also mention that as a person who constantly played sports all the time growing up I knew a ton of other people who were gamers. In fact, it was more common than not.
