Whiskey's life will always be the most hard no matter what trials and tribulations anyone else is facing. Let's all give him an F for his 83-hour work week where he probably did more heavy lifting than blu, even though it probably wasn't anytime recent.

F

it wasn't recent your majesty, it was when i was 20. it also wasn't sitting in a desk chair in front of a computer. it was building decks and putting up party tents in between hurricanes.

what do you know about physical labor TDC? by all means, school us on the finer points of actual labor.

Lol. I lived in Sierra Leone, where I helped build wells and school structures. I hand washed my clothes, carried multiple gallons of water from the well on the daily, and made my own cement!

My point was you like to come into other people's threads when they're talking about their own life, and then complain about your own as if you're somehow superior for having worked one 83-hour work week doing physical labor multiple decades ago.

and how old were you when you did that? did you do it for 14 hours a day for a week? did you do it for 60+ hours a week for entire seasons? do you know what a pair of 2x8's weighs when they're both green and wet? did you get any nails in your shoulder doing it? were you doing all of that in torrential rain? poor guy, you had to carry a 40lb bag of cement. clearly you've publicly shamed me.

and the irony of the "coming into other people's threads bit" surely escapes you.

Annual testing. Usually we typically spend 12 hours or so taking measurements over a weekend but when extra people get involved 12 decent hours can easily turn into 40 really crappy ones. Yelling and condescending speech pretty common at these things, at least it wasnt all directed towards me even if it continued into the parking lot.

Also during the week was asked to do some multiple non-annual things in ways that are extremely time inefficient.

Probably. I wheeled around 400 pounds for a few minutes and pushed it up into a piece of wood. Lifted about 20 at some awkward angles for maybe two minutes with some breaks. Your 83 probably had more enjoyable moments though.

My most was 100 one week in grad school doing data collection. I left that advisor a month after then his other students left then he got fired for not being able to do research because he had no students.
