That's pretty much just ancient astronaut theory. Essentially there were beings who came to Earth and jumpstarted humanity, and humanity being in it's infancy just tried to describe things the best they could which would lead to the belief of god(s) and stuff.

I don't believe it, however I do think that idea is much more believable than what religions themselves teach. It makes more sense. Not a ton of sense, but more than that lol

Yeah, maybe they are aliens. I dont automatically have a problem with that or God and the Devil being spirit beings that exist outside of the natural world (whatever religious people think that means). Just show us your proof. It really is that simple. Unfortunately when I ask for it, the faithful start quoting biblical scripture or ask if Ive watched any of Giorgio Tsoukalos shows

I don't believe in God because nothing that happened in any religious text has any real world evidence supporting it. Same goes for aliens. They may or may not exist but there's no evidence for it so I disregard it
Also I find it absurd when atheists say we're living in a simulation. Again no evidence and in that case, anyone who's running the simulation, is, for all intents and purposes, god
