Why not jog on the sidewalk or in a park? Nope. Gotta jog on the road. If a car clips me by accident I get big $$$.

also annoyed by the people who insist on riding their fucking bike on a busy 45 MPH road for fun. just fuck off. like, if you can't afford or don't have a car and you need to bike to work / etc, fine, but if you're riding along for fun then you're an asshole.

I never understood it either, the most popular place for joggers in my old town was this shitty polluted highway

Not even 1 mile east was a beautiful windy road through farmland

Also why do joggers and bicyclists stay as close as they can to the lane line when there's generous shoulder to use. It's like they think taking up more space makes them safer

Simple answer is they can most likely just open their front door and run. Dont have to drive to a park or anything.

I see them jogging on the road when there's a literal fucking side walk right next to them.

THIS.

My home is in a neighborhood off a two-lane road at the top of a hill. I have to drive up the hill on that road to finally get home. The road has no sidewalks or a bike lane. Yet for some reason, cyclists love using this road. One, two, or sometimes even a group of cyclists take that road uphill, then slow down tremendously as they go up it for half a mile. Meanwhile, I'm in my car slowly pacing behind them. I can't pass them on the second oncoming lane, because the hill obstructs any potential oncoming traffic, so it's possible someone could suddenly pop in and hit me. So I'm basically driving 10 mph up that hill until I can finally pass the cyclists.
