Watching an episode right after the Future Trunks arc and it cuts to Vegeta training with Whis and he bribes Whis with a steak to get out of finishing his sparring drills. Since when in the HFIL would Vegeta try to get out of training?

I wish Dragonball was as good as I remembered it. It was great when I was a kid, but it's something I just have to admit to myself that it's better as a memory.
