I moved into my current place almost 6 years ago on Super Bowl weekend. As I was moving my shit in my new neighbour came over and invited me to his Super Bowl party. I have zero interest in football but went anyways and we pretty much instantly became friends.

I still pop over several times a week to have beers with him and his buddies. He got me into golfing too and we do that in the summer.

some of them. my next door neighbors though, not so well. i'm about 90% certain that the house is some form of short term group flophouse for people in the military, since i live next to a navy base and people appear to move in and out of the place one by one every few months.

I was stalked by my neighbor twice. Once when I moved here about 4 years ago and once last summer.

That said at an old apartment a 70 year old gay dude and I were awesome friends. He was a great dude and one of Canada's first hiv activists.

He offered me bjs ten times an hour but I ignored that and we got along great.

I know my landlord who is in the adjacent apt. I haven't met the new (as of summer) upstairs tennants. I have never met the left side next door neighbors at any point and there have probably been many. I did know the next door neighbors to the right but they moved over the summer and I have not met the new ones... but their political signs line up with my views/opinions so they are probably awesome.

He was a stoner too. I'd go over and smoke with him and he'd tell me stories of his activism days.

He was obsessed with blowing me but meh. He just brought it up a lot. He never really pressured me. I can take that in stride.

I live in a duplex. The lower unit is currently vacant. The old neighbors were terrible. Constantly screaming at eachother and brought bugs into the house. I hardly spoke to them.

I've never spoken to the family to the left of me. To the right is a three unit building. I only know the tenants of one. They sit on their porch all day and smoke/listen to music. They're old guys but they're nice enough. I like that they're out there. They kind of keep an eye on the house and make sure that no one steals my packages and shit.

I know pretty much everyone in my neighborhood as Ive lived here for what will be 23 years on the 22nd of this month.

A few of my neighbors are pretty friendly. There are mostly older couples and families on my street. Someone shovels my walkway when it snows and I still don't know who it is.

Neighbors down the road moved away like 6 years ago. Across the street like 4. Live in the woods so anyone beyond them is over a mile away.
