So, these are two worlds Ive just recently been interested in lately now that with the resurgence of Dune, well.. its been delayed like with everything else until next year. I feel like it would be awesome to actually see what that book was all about. As for Dune... Im just really interested in reading more about that world and it just interests me to want to know more about it! I don't know what it is... probably the giant sand worms I guess. So anyways, I just ordered the nice look leather cover copy of Dune and Im excited to read it. For people here whoever read it... what are your thoughts about it?

And as for Mortal Engines... I actually just finished watching the film and it was... ok-ish. Lets just say im more interested in reading the books then watching that film ever again. And its strange because it had so much more going for it! I loved the mad max vibe, the moving cities, the zombie robot subplot was cool, but the overall plot as rubbish and felt like it has been done before a thousand times before in the same context. But yeah.. cool world and everything, but again, I assume the books are way much better? Also would love to hear some thoughts on those as well.

Dune is great. It didn't become a classic for no reason! Also, you can kinda see the direct influence it had on Star Wars.

Haven't read the other one and don't really have an interest. Name is vaguely familiar, but that's about it.
