Our most important regional ally, western europe, is at odds with Republican values. Democrats even are considered conservative by Western European standards but they are much closer to Western European values than Republicans are. If western Europe got to pick between who to deal with, they WOULD deal with the democrats and help them in a war against the republicans

Im more worried about which side Putin decides hes gonna support, and I think we all know which side that will be.

I know they don't want us to turn into another massive enemy. Imagine their pov if America became a dictatorship with the same power on the national stage as we currently have. we'd become a huge threat to Europe and probably would have our own Cold War with them. it would be like a 2nd Soviet Empire on the opposite side of the planet. they don't want that. if they could stop it they would.

I'm talking about a situation where like Biden and Trump split the nation into 2 factions and both sides have an equal chance of winning. and Europe can choose who to help. If they thought they could turn the tide in Biden's favor they would. they might not help out in the open officially. maybe they would send spies to work with the Biden army or just send Biden supplies. but they would help in some way.

btw this reminds of an old late 90's or early 2000's pc game. I never played it but I remember it coming out and seeing it in stores. it was a strategy game about an American Civil War with like 4 or 5 factions to play as. Each region was a different faction. but you could also play as Europe. I think you could maybe play as Russia too. so there might have been like 6 player factions in the game. but the goal was to reunify the nation under your faction. The europe faction basically was like the UN coming in to end the chaos

actually I was looking at the plot of the game i mentioned and some of it is kinda similar to what is happening right now. a disputed election happens
