And while they might be loyal to a party, it is rarely to the point they would jeopardize their own careers. If a state's leaders picked a bunch of faithless electors, they would likely guarantee the end of the political careers, they would go down in history books as actual villains, and depending on how their constituents responded, possibly be risking their lives. --- Gheb is my other account <cite>Compsognathus posted [p:947005253] in What's...
